I'm a sport scientist, coach and active researcher with more than 30 international publications (including peer-reviewed articles and book chapters).
In 2015 I completed my PhD at Edith Cowan University (Perth, Australia) and won the Australian Institute of Sport award “for having conducted Exercise Physiology research that has had a substantial impact on Australian Sport.”
I have worked with the Italian cycling team prior to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games; and with the Australian cycling team during the preparation for the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, contributing to 4 medal winning performances.
I’m currently Head of Performance Solutions at Cycling Australia, supporting the coaching and performance support team to identify and deliver performance enhancing solutions.
