Patti Timmons Fritz

Dr. Fritz's research interests include the etiology, developmental course, correlates, and measurement of various forms of family violence, including intimate partner violence (IPV). She is also interested in adolescent development, intimate relationships, animal abuse, and couples therapy. Some of her recent research has focused on how and when dating violence first begins in emerging adults’ relationships and partner aggression that occurs through electronic means (e.g., via cell phones, social networking websites, etc.) and the relation between women abuse and animal abuse.
