Postdoctoral Researcher on US-China Relations, University of Oxford

Dr Pete Millwood received his doctorate in history from the University of Oxford in 2018. His first book uses Chinese and US sources to offer an account of the US-China relationship from below summits such as Nixon's famous 1972 meeting with Chairman Mao. He is currently a research fellow at Oxford's Rothermere American Institute and has previously held fellowships at the US Library of Congress and China's Tsinghua and Peking universities.
