Professor of Economic Geography, University of Southampton

Peter Sunley has been a professor of economic geography at the University of Southampton in 2003 and director of research and enterprise.

His economic research interests include regional development and growth, venture capital and firm finance, innovation and creative industry, geographies of labour and welfare policy, evolutionary economic geography and social enterprise.

Between 1988-2003 he was lecturer and senior lecturer at the University of Edinburgh.
