Focus of my interest is conservation science; long time member of IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, special interest in World Heritage (worked for UNESCO, UNITAR, IUCN on World Heritage as well as Australian Federal and Queensland State Governments). Currently member of the Australian Heritage Council (natural heritage expert); Chair of the Wet Tropics Management Authority; member of the National Landscapes Reference Committee; teach and research in protected area management and natural resource management.
