Senior Research Fellow, Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University

I am researching the relationships between participation, the internet and citizenship. I work in partnership with diverse stakeholders as a program leader in the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre, researching how we can harness ICT to address the major public policy challenge of mental health.

Specifically, I am concerned with how diverse actors – including ‘end users’ - mobilise to solve policy problems – and to what effect.

This year I published the book: Young Citizens and Political Participation in a Digital Society, Palgrave Macmillan 2015.
