Phil is the Assoc. Vice Provost for Learning Sciences at the University of Texas, Austin, Deputy Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning, and a Clinical Professor in the iSchool and in the Dept. of Educational Psychology. He is a Founding Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland, and a Visiting Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a lapsed biologist cum learning technologist focused on emerging technologies and learning spaces, physical and virtual.
