Phuti Sepuru

Phuti Sepuru is a Lecturer in Musicology in the Department of Art and Music, at the University of South Africa. Her current research is focused on exploring musical identities within South African jazz pianism. She is the Vice-President (Southern region) of the Pan African Society for Musical Arts Education (PASMAE) and also serves as a Board Member for the South African Association for Jazz Education (SAJE). Sepuru holds a Doctor of Music degree in Musicology from the University of Pretoria.
