Rachel is a postgraduate research student working between the School of Earth and Environment and the Business School at the University of Leeds. Her research interests are in climate change communications, perception of climate risk and decision making. Her current project is considering the relationship between extreme weather event coverage and climate change narratives in the media and how this might impact an individual’s climate response.

Before returning to university, Rachel worked in marketing and communications in the UK & international retail sector.
