Rachel New is Researcher for the Oxford Martin School Programme on Resource Stewardship and Research Coordinator for The Oxford Centre for the Study of Intergroup Conflict. The former involves relating the psychology of social dilemmas and moral decision-making to the mitigation of climate change as part of a multi-disciplinary project, both at a theoretical and experimental level.
The latter focuses on improving intergroup relations through intergroup contact, including most recently a report to the Department of Education on the consequences of segregation in schools.
