Dr Raven Cretney is a social scientist working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Waikato and with the Resilience to Nature's Challenges National Science Challenge. Her research focuses on how communities participate in decision-making and policy change relating to post-disaster and environmental politics. She has published widely on the politics of resilience, environmental issues, and disaster recovery.
