Rebecca Guy is a public health epidemiologist, who was awarded a NHMRC Postdoctoral Fellowship in 2008 with a focus on research aimed at the prevention and control of sexually transmitted infections. She has a particular interest in health interventions at the primary care level. Rebecca is a lead investigator on a number of large scale, NHMRC funded projects, including randomised trials of chlamydia testing in general practice, best practice sexual health service delivery in remote Aboriginal communities, and point-of-care testing for sexually transmitted infections. She also has strong interest in the evaluation of new technologies to support the effective delivery of primary health services.
