Dr Rebecca Jarvis is a Senior Lecturer in Marine Social Science at Auckland University of Technology. Rebecca has over fifteen years experience working in academia and conservation NGOs in New Zealand, Australia, Madagascar, Europe, the Pacific, and Antarctica. Her research interests include the high seas, ocean governance, conservation, sustainable development, social science, equity, social justice, knowledge exchange, and developing new tools and approaches to help us better navigate the spaces between knowledge, policy, and action to deliver solutions on the ground.
