Rebecca Meehan previously had a career in allied health before studying law. She is due to complete the Bachelor of Laws at QUT in November 2019. While working as a research assistant at the Australian Centre for Health Law Research she has gained experience in end-of-life law generally, and more specifically in the area of assisted dying. Rebecca was a member of the team that developed the mandatory training for medical practitioners participating in voluntary assisted dying required by the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2017 (Victoria).
