PhD Candidate in Intellectual Property Law, University of Liverpool

Rebecca is a PhD candidate in law at the University of Liverpool. She holds an LLM degree (Distinction) and an LLB (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool. The University of Liverpool has recognised her exceptional research with a Certificate of Excellence in 2019. She is also the recipient of the John Lennon Memorial Scholarship for her master’s project and the Sir Joseph Rotblat Alumni Scholarship for her PhD research. Rebecca’s research is also supported by the FFWG Main Foundation grant.

Rebecca’s interdisciplinary research interests explore the interaction of law with pioneering technologies such as Biotechnology and Artificial Intelligence, focusing on aspects of Intellectual Property and Competition Law. Rebecca is interested in exploring empirical approaches in her research and is an active member of the Law and Non-Communicable Disease Unit at the University of Liverpool.
