Dr. Rebecca Sindall works as the Operations Manager for the Engineering Field Testing Platform at the Pollution Research Group at University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. The platform tests sanitation technology prototypes in informal settlements and rural households and Dr. Sindall is responsible for the daily operation of the platform.

She studied chemical engineering and water engineering at the University of Birmingham and completed a PhD in anaerobic digestion for wastewater treatment before working as a Senior Research Scientist in Thames Water's Wastewater Treatment Innovation team.
