Reuben Wilcock

Co-founder and director of Future Worlds, Reuben is currently Principal Enterprise Fellow for the Faculty of Physical Sciences and Engineering at the University of Southampton. He is a serial entrepreneur, having started a number of companies including a successful university spinout, Joulo Ltd, which was acquired in 2014. Reuben leads a team of talented engineers to take innovative research through to successful commercial products and regularly consults for high profile clients. Having straddled academia and industry for the last 15 years, he has a PhD in integrated circuit design and is recipient of a Royal Academy of Engineering Entrepreneurial Award and the British Gas Connected Homes Startup Award.
