Richard Maxwell is Professor of Media Studies at Queens College, City University of New York. His research has focused on international political economy of media, surveillance and data protection, and the environmental impact of media. His recent publications include Greening the Media (with Toby Miller), Routledge Companion to Labor and Media, and Media and the Ecological Crisis (co-edited with Jon Raundalen and Nina Lager Vestberg).
