Post-Doctoral Researcher, Brain and Movement Group, Newcastle University

I am a research associate with the Brain and Movement Research Group at Newcastle University. Following an undergraduate degree in psychology at Maynooth University, and a Masters degree in applied neuropsychology at Bangor University, I completed my PhD in Neuroscience at Newcastle University in 2019. During this time, my research focused on gait analysis in Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body dementias, and the application of digitial technology to clinical settings. I continue to work in this area and am branching out into other clinical populations, such as people with Parkinson's disease and HIV, while also becoming more interested in dementia care research.
