Rosemary Smith

Rosemary is a proud Ngarabul from Northern NSW, growing up on Wonnarua country in the Hunter Valley and now living and working on Ngunnawal country in Canberra. Over the years, Rosemary has spent time working across Government, corporates and NGOs in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health and wellbeing research, policy and program design, implementation and evaluation. Rosemary now works as the Executive Manager of Policy at the Lowitja Institute.

Rosemary is heavily invested in and committed to the achievement of better health and welfare outcomes for her community. The roles Rosemary has held have provided the opportunity to gain extensive experience in guiding and supporting effective Indigenous community engagement, program and policy design and implementation, as well as program evaluation and audit. Rosemary specialises in Indigenous health and human service policy and program design and implementation.
