Ruth is a Researcher in the Economics Department of the School of Business at the University of Dundee. She has worked in the private sector as an economic consultant specialising in evaluation and research for town planning and engineering companies, and she has also taught Spatial Analysis at the University of Dundee. She has a Masters in Economics from University College, London, and a distinction in the Masters in Spatial Planning with Sustainable Urban Design from the University of Dundee. She has a BA (Hons) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford.
