Sally Fowler Davis

Associate Professor in Organisation in Health and Care, Sheffield Hallam University

I am a qualified and state registered Allied Health Professional-Occupational Therapist (York St John University 1986) with a Masters in Education (Leeds University 1996), Post Graduate Diploma in Integrative Arts Therapy (1996).

As an organisational scientist and health services researcher, I have a wide range of policy implementation experience, a growing understanding of co-production research methods and an interest in implementation science.

I have experience of leading large scale programmes (DH 2009-11 AHP Improvement Project and NHS Institute for Improvement and Innovation 2005-10- Service Improvement National Curriculum) and supporting services to engage with research as a driver to positive and inclusive improvement, based on the core principle of patient/resident/service user benefit.

I have honorary contacts and senior roles leading the development and use of clinical academic research at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and in NHS Sheffield CCG.
