Sam Kirkham

I am interested in the development of new accents and dialects, bilingualism and language contact, the workings of the human vocal tract, and the social meanings of linguistic variation.

I have worked at Lancaster University since 2012. I did my PhD in Linguistics at the University of Sheffield, focusing on accent variation in a multiethnic community.
