I am currently researching the language of conspiracy theories. I analyse how conspiracy theories are persuasive and how they can be replicated. I am particularly interested in helping people understand why and how we believe what we do. In doing so, we can find ways to connect and engage with divergent audiences and, ultimately, understand ourselves better.

Questions that intrigue me and guide my thinking include:-
What are the ingredients for a conspiracy theory?
How do you make a conspiracy theory?
Are all conspiracy theories the same?
Why do conspiracy theories evoke strong responses?
Why do conspiracy theories have the ability to completely shut down a conversation?
How can conspiracy theories help us learn about ourselves and our identities?
