Dr Sarah Muir is a research fellow at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Centre at the University of Southampton. She holds a PhD in Psychology and has 17 years' experience of qualitative research. Her research interests include the psychological, social and environmental determinants of eating behaviour and diet. Her most recent work has involved evaluating the Government's new legislation restricting the placement of unhealthy foods at prominent locations in retail stores which involved interviewing over 100 stakeholders effected by the legislation.
