Sarah Tottle is a doctoral candidate at the University of Lancaster, researching organisational health and wellbeing. She is conducting qualitative research into the return to work phase post burnout. The aim of the research is to look at the narratives and stories people tell about their experiences of returning to work after burning out, with emphasis on giving participants a voice to share their stories, and look for any themes that may arise between the participant group.

She has long held an interest in research and consulting, having previously worked in consulting following a clinical career in psychological services at the NHS and the not-for-profit sector.

She has a special interest in healthy organisations, health promotion, engagement, and positive organisational behaviours. She is currently working on research projects in Auckland, New Zealand.
