Senior lecturer, Nottingham Trent University

Seema is a senior lecturer in law at Nottingham Law School. Her research field is sports law and she is an international expert on the legal implications of gender discrimination in sport. Seema's research examines inclusion and exclusion in competitive sport and recently assesses the regulatory gaps in the protection of athletes' rights. She is the author of Inclusion and Exclusion in Competitive Sport: Socio-Legal and Regulatory Perspectives. Seema has been involved in government and sport policy making in this area and has also provided extensive global media commentary on current issues. In her teaching capacity, Seema leads, lectures and tutors on a number of undergraduate and postgraduate law modules, including tort law and sports law.
