Shaila Pal

Shaila Pal is the Director & Senior Lecturer and a Supervising Solicitor at King’s Legal Clinic at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London. Shaila practiced for a number years as a legal aid solicitor specialising in refugee, human trafficking and public law. Shaila trained at civil liberties firm, Deighton Guedalla and then worked for a number of not for profit organisations, including Refugee Migrant Justice and Hammersmith and Fulham Law Centre. Shaila then worked as a Lecturer and Module leader for Immigration Law and Clinical Legal Education in professional legal education on LPC and LLM programmes. .

Shaila is committed to promoting access to justice and developing initiatives which support local, global and vulnerable communities and provide students with a transformative educational experience.
