Dr. Shazia Akhtar is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Bradford. She was awarded her PhD from Leeds University. Shazia’s research specialism is in autobiographical memory across the age trajectory and special populations such as people with Alzheimer’s disease and Mild Cognitive Impairment. She has extensive experience conducting survey research, and using more experimental paradigms.

Shazia’s research areas include false memories and their benefits, flash bulb memories, applied memory in a legal setting.
