Siân Robinson

Professor Siân Robinson is Professor of Nutritional Epidemiology within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. Siân is a registered Nutritionist.
She is responsible for the nutritional components of the large UK cohort studies at the MRC Lifecourse Epidemiology Unit, and she leads the NIHR Southampton Biomedical Research Centre’s research programme on the role of nutrition in healthy ageing. Her research addresses how variations in nutrition across the lifecourse contribute to inequalities in adult health, with a particular focus on early life influences on growth and development, and effects on ageing.
