Clinical Hypnotherapist and PhD student, Monash University

Simone Peters has a background in psychophysiology and is currently completing her PhD with the Department of Medicine, The Alfred Central Clinical Hospital, Monash University. Simone has a particular interest in the psychological aspects of medical conditions involving the brain-gut axis, such as non-gluten coeliac gluten sensitivity, coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome. As a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, Simone works at the private practice Shepherd Works headed by Dr Sue Shepherd and specialises in working with individuals with chronic illnesses of the gastrointestinal system.
