Sini-Petriina Klasto is a PhD candidate at the University of Sheffield.
Her thesis delves into queer oppression and HIV/AIDS related stigmatisation as a vehicle of homophobia in South Korea. She categorises herself as an aspirational sociologist with a hot'n'cold love affair with the South Korean context. She has published sparsely, loves teaching, and (often) takes solace in the queer art of failure.
