I conduct interdisciplinary research on topics related to the societal impact of targeted marketing activities (both commercial and social). I have published research in leading marketing, public health, health policy and psychology journals, and have also created two award winning documentary films. I am also the co-founder of the Race in the Marketplace (RIM) research network (rimnetwork.net). I have a Phd in marketing, and MBA, and a BA in political science. I have also had a postdoc in public health, spent time 2 years at the Federal Trace Comission (FTC) working on a national study, and conducted research on in both Cuba and South Africa.
