Stacey has more than fifteen years teaching experience at the tertiary level (higher education and vocational). She has received a Joss Group Award for CSU Outstanding Doctoral Thesis, a Teaching in Excellence Award, and a Personal and Business Rotary Achiever Award. She is a NSW Justice of the Peace, member of Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) and Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD). She is the founder / Chair of the Riverina HR Networking Group and has served as a judging panellist for the Australian and New Zealand Human Resource Industry Awards and the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber Crow Awards. She was a Guest Speaker at the Australian Women's Leadership Forum and presented to a number of different forums since.
Stacey has extensive human resource industry experience. She has worked as a National Human Resources Manager in private practice.  The industries in which she has held HR generalist positions domestically include corrections, detentions, manufacturing and hospitality.  She has also worked domestically as an Industrial Advocate. Internationally she has worked in the tourism and hospitality industry in the USA and Canada.
