Stephen Parker was awarded his PhD from The University of Western Australia in 2012. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the Frequency and Quantum Metrology research group at The University of Western Australia’s School of Physics.

His research involves developing methods to generate and characterise extremely stable frequency sources accurately and applying these low noise precision measurement technologies to experimental tests of fundamental physics.

Dr Parker was an invited speaker at the Indiana University Center for Spacetime Symmetries Workshop on Testing Lorentz Invariance with Photons (USA, 2012) and the IEEE International Frequency Control Symposium (Taiwan, 2014).

He received a Young Scientist Award from the International Union of Radio Science (URSI) in 2014.
