Stephen Paul Mumme

Specialist in comparative government with a focus on environmental politics and policy. Research focus has centered on water management and environmental politics along the U.S.-Mexico border. Author or co-author of several monographs and more that 150 journal articles and chapters--perhaps best known as a leading authority on the work of the International Boundary and Water Commission, United States and Mexico and the landmark 1944 Water Treaty that governs transboundary water management.
