I am interested in the integration of ecological, physiological and evolutionary approaches to animal behavior. Our primary experimental organisms (burying beetles) allow easy manipulation of reproduction, parental care, competition and hormonal state. Student projects at the Waterbury campus are primarily geared to undergraduates, although collaboration with graduate students from other campuses also has been possible. Current research projects can be found below.
