Professor of Sports Law and Practice, a second-team recreational cricketer, and a very average golfer. My research interests cut across different sports and issues. I am an accredited Arbitrator and trained in Restorative Justice and am particularly interested in applying concepts of Restorative Justice to disciplinary processes in sport at all levels.
A key question I explore is the extent to which law is, and has been, a progressive force for sport and its relationship to sporting values and practices.
