Steven Dashiell

Steven Dashiell is an Assistant Research Professor with the Center for Urban Health Equity at Morgan State University. He is specifically interested in the sociology of language, and the value associated with certain discourses, particularly in male-dominated subcultures. He previously was a postdoctoral fellow at American University. His research looks at such diverse topics as gaming, the military, African American men, social media, and community health.
