Stewart Maganga is a registered doctoral candidate at the Nelson Mandela University in Port Elizabeth,South Africa and is currently completing his doctoral thesis on Rastafarians. He has been lecturing Anthropology for close to ten years and has taught at various institutions, both locally and internationally. He is passionate about issues related to Africa and its diaspora, the arts, development including applied anthropology. He has further written articles for various newspapers.
