Professor and parasite researcher, The University of Melbourne

Stuart studied his Bachelor of Science and PhD in biology at the University of Melbourne, and conducted post-doctoral training at the Pasteur Institute, Paris, and the Walter and Eliza Hall institute of Medical Research in Melbourne. Stuart's main research focus is malaria. His team investigates the biology of the parasite that causes malaria, and tries to find new targets for drugs to treat this disease.
