University Distinguished Professor of Microbiology, Immunology, and Pathology and Director of the One Health Institute, Colorado State University

I am a veterinarian who studies disease ecology and viral pathogenesis, mainly in domestic and non domestic cats. I have been Director of the CSU One Health Institute since late 2019 and am involved in a number of studies on COVID-19, from potential for aerosol spread, to workplace risks, to adaptive changes that occur during cross-species spread.
