I am a Scientist at Research Center for Physics (Pusat Penelitian Fisika), Indonesian Institute of Science (Lembaga Ilmu Pengetahuan Indonesia, LIPI).

With L. T. Handoko, I founded the first research group on experimental nuclear and particle physics in Indonesia. Currently I led the group together with two deputies, Rifki Sadikin and Esa Prakasa. Our group is a member of ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) Collaboration at CERN. The LIPI ALICE Team is active in grid/high performance computing, the ALICE O2 (Online-Offline) Computing Upgrade, ALICE ITS (Inner Tracking System) Upgrade, and heavy-flavour physics analysis. Outside high-energy physics, I am interested in statistical data analysis, machine learning, software engineering, high performance computing, and scientific instrumentation.

I did my postdoc with the experimental high energy physics group at Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Califonia, Riverside, worked under the supervision of Bob Clare and Steve Wimpenny. I was a member of the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration at CERN, The European Organization for Nuclear Research in Geneva, Switzerland. My CMS work focused on physics of the top quark and search for new physics in the top sector, and the commissioning and operation of the endcap muon detector.

My PhD was done at Department of Physics, Florida State University and D0 Collaboration at Fermilab, under the supervision of Todd Adams, with disssertation title "First measurement of top quark pair production cross-section in muon plus hadronic tau final states". At D0, I also contributed to the development of the control systems software for D0 Liquid Argon Calorimeter and the search for charged Higgs boson.

My undergraduate was at the Department of Physics, University of Indonesia. I worked with the research group of Terry Mart and Darmadi Kusno (deceased) on phenomenology in hadronic physics.
