Suzanne Brown

I am a Senior Lecturer in Initial teacher Education at Sheffield Hallam University. Prior to this role I worked in Secondary schools for nearly 20 years in various middle and senior leadership roles as well as teaching science. My experience of being a sandwich carer to my children and parents has been my motivation for my research around working practices in schools, particularly around flexible working patterns, women teachers and teacher recruitment and retention.
