Theodora Vardouli

Assistant Professor, Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture, McGill University

I am an Assistant Professor at the Peter Guo-hua Fu School of Architecture, McGill University. My research foci include digital culture in design and architecture, histories and theories of computational design, critical perspectives on technological speculation for buildings and cities, and the ethics and politics of design and technology. I hold a PhD in Design and Computation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I also completed a Master of Science in the same area, as well as a Post-professional Master in Design-Space-Culture and a Master of Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. My research has been supported from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, the Onassis Foundation, Leventis Foundation, and the Fulbright Foundation.
