Thomas J. Straka

Professor of Forestry and Environmental Conservation (Forest Resource Management and Economics), Clemson University

Dr. Straka earned a B.S. and M.S. in Forestry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Forest Resource Managements and Economics from Virginia Tech. He has five years of forest industry experience as a professional forester and over thirty years of academic experience, beginning on the faculty of Mississippi State University, and currently as a professor of forestry at Clemson University.
