I studied medicine at the University of Aberdeen, graduating in 2012 with a MBChB with Commendation and intercalated BSc (Med Sci) with First Class honours.
I completed Academic Foundation Programme training in Glasgow before moving to London for training in psychiatry at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
I was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in 2016 and am currently working clinically as a Specialist Registrar in General Adult Psychiatry.
I was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2017.
I started an MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship at the University of Oxford in 2022.
