Tom Hunt

I am the Deputy Director and Policy Research Associate at the Sheffield Political Economy Research Institute (SPERI) in the University of Sheffield.

I co-lead SPERI’s Labour & Decent Work research theme. My research focuses on the changing nature of work, labour rights, trade unions and understanding contemporary working conditions. My recent research has focused on investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon trade unions. I am a Senior Fellow of Unions 21.
