Senior Lecturer of Geography, Queen's University Belfast

Tristan Sturm is a Senior Lecturer of Geography at Queen’s University Belfast and Fellow of the George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice.

He is interested in lead exposure from lead water pipes and is currently researching lead in Belfast with an ESRC Impact grant. He also researches apocalyptic thought related to climate change, conspiracies, and religious movements in the USA and Israel/Palestine. His work on COVID-19 conspiracies was cited in the New York Times, Mother Jones, and the Chicago Tribune.

He has published in the Toronto Star, Haaretz, the Conversation, THE Magazine, National Post, and the Jerusalem Post.
