Veronica Guardabassi

I am a psychologist and I have a Ph.D. in Psychological Science.
During my doctorate and during my Postdoc fellowship at the University of Bologna, I collaborated and conducted experimental and longitudinal studies regarding obesity stigma. Specifically, I focused on the relation between weight bias and cognitive functioning as well as health related outcomes. I am also interested in maths anxiety and home numeracy, and I have taken part into research projects concerning these topics.
My main research goal is to understand the role of social context in the life of individuals from the perspective of social and developmental psychology.
